An Inside-Outing

Fishing around some old email accounts looking for some files and I found these old pieces from high school. A friend asked if I could design his album cover and cd graphic after working with me on a high school film project and liking the graphic work I included in it. I was supposed to also include an illustration for each of his songs in the accompanying song booklet insert in the cd case, but getting myself prepared for college held greater priority. 

Lots of art direction credited to him. I would still appreciate if he’d credit the designs to me, no matter how garish they are. C’est la vie. 

All this for $100. I was indeed not a clever entrepreneur - no, not sagely at all. 

I don’t really think I have an eye for graphic design - and I certainly didn’t in high school. Nor did I have proficient knowledge of photoshop. But it was enough for him.

Anyway, I include this because it’s nice to look back on things and this is my more personal tumblr than my tentatively “professional” one. I need to fetch myself a web domain.

Note II: Why is it drug related posts spread like wildfire on tumblr, yet my more professional and interesting pieces receive scant “likes” here and there? Kids, most of you are 13 and your knowledge of hardcore drugs probably doesn’t exceed that of tylenol and benedryl. #bitchplease
