Working on my children’s book and I have a couple of spreads featuring the protagonist’s room. I searched “Girl’s room” for inspiration, but all those photos are really nice room designs for disturbingly rich individuals that are willing to sell their children to make the perfect children’s room. So I recalled this image I made freshmen year for a brief photoshop animation (also among my first times playing with photoshop.) I enjoyed breaking the rules of perspective some and just warping everything to my whimsy. I’m finally making some headway this evening.
Breaking the rules is always exciting.

My name is Morgan Shay and I'm an Illustration major at Pratt Institute, currently enrolled in a crash-course through ridiculous.
